Playing from 2004 to 2017, he was one of the best pitchers in D-3 history, Wally managed the Chiefs for 13 years amassing 251 wins and had the best winning percentage (.611) of any manager at the time of his induction. Crafty as a pitcher and in selecting his teams when he drafted, he won multiple championships and was always considered as a great manager. His biggest service to the league was as President of the league, where he negotiated with the Recreation Department and obtained the rights for the league to run their own level of play and write their own rules within the Recreation Department guidelines. Every division owes Wally a dept of gratitude for his leadership role in Villages softball.
