Paul Hein

Always a good hitter as shown by his lifetime .530 batting average and 1,537 hits and an impressive third all-time in total bases with 2,102 at the time of his induction. He played outfield in his early years, starting in 2006, he later moved to the infield playing a lot at 2B through the fall of 2024. With good speed, he had over 300 extra base hits which included 89 Home Runs- a stat that pleased him so much! A well educated man who enjoyed being around the field and the guys as much as anyone. Could make you laugh or drive you crazy, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. This honor was presented posthumously as he passed in late 2024 and accepted on his behalf by his friends Linda Hoover and Barbara Mendola. He will be remembered as a terrific player and great friend.

Inducted into The Villages Division 3 Hall of Fame on April 14, 2025
