Both outstanding as a player and a manager, had already amassed over 1,200 hits including, more than 250 extra base hits with a .570 batting average at the time of his induction. In addition, his nearly 900 runs scored are near the top of the list in that category. Known for taking his Rams teams deep into the tournaments and winning several titles along the way, he is quiet, kind and loved by all who played with, for and against him.
