Carlos Lopez

Starting in 2004 as a shortstop, Carlos soon became a pitcher. He has managed since 2007 and been a mainstay in D-3. He has over 400 wins in over 40 seasons as a manager and has won the tournament four times (second all-time at the time of his induction)! Also, at the time of his induction, he has amassed over 3,200 plate appearances (second all time) with over 1,300 hits and driving in nearly 1,200 runs. Carlos served on the board of directors in the early years of the league helping shape what we have today. As a pitcher, always accurate and rarely walked anyone. Popular with the players he managed and also a long time (and very good) umpire as well.

Inducted into The Villages Division 3 Hall of Fame on April 10, 2023
