Starting out as an outfielder, Lindsay soon became a premier pitcher in D-3. Beginning in 2005, he has become not only one of the best pitchers but a great hitter with over 1,500 career hits and 270+ extra base hits and over 1,000 runs batted in, with one of the top lifetime batting averages well over .600 at the time of his induction. Has played on many championship teams and is often sought out in the early rounds of the seasonal draft. He has plagued hitters with his varying array of pitches and you were never comfortable if he had two strikes on you. A master of throwing short, he varies the arch and speed of the pitch, plus occasionally going to the side of the mound to throw off hitters! These all add to the legend of the quiet man, respected opponent and well liked teammate he has been for nearly 2 decades.
